Order
of St. Luke, Bowen Chapter
Members of our Uniting Church congregation join with members of the Anglican congregation to form the Bowen Chapter of the Order of St. Luke. The Order functions within the whole Church, world-wide, to foster interest in, and the practice of the healing ministry according to new Testament teaching. Members of the Bowen Chapter meet each month for prayer and study of the healing ministry and conduct a Healing service every three months. They also take part in a phone chain to meet requests for prayer on behalf of those needing help and healing in times of illness, accident or bereavement. |
